iBusiness Banking (iBB), the Internet-based payments and cash management system from Allied Irish Bank(GB), has been developed to make routine business banking more efficient; saving you time and money and reducing the effort required to manage your money. As an iBusiness Banking customer you can conduct transactions and financial management online, streamlining your systems and enhancing convenience and customer service. While already proven to be highly effective, iBusiness Banking functions are continually being upgraded and enhanced.

Control and Convenience

iBusiness Banking puts you in control of daily cashflow, giving real-time access from your home or office, even outside business ours. As account information is instantly available from your PC, you're always on top of financial developments.

Use iBusiness Banking to:

Monitor

  • View all balances and transactions on your AIB Group accounts: Branch, Euro, Credit Card, Asset Finance, Term Deposit and more. You decide which accounts you wish to view and who can view them.
  • View standing orders.
  • View the debit and credit interest rates applied to your accounts, and the debit and credit interest accrued on all accounts.
  • Search accounts for transactions over the past 180 days by date, amount, description.
  • Create and print reports on your accounts and export transactions to spreadsheet packages.

Make Payments

  • Transfer funds between your Sterling accounts instantly.
  • Make same day value payments from any of your Sterling accounts via CHAPS (Clearing House automated Payments System). Check CHAPS payments received online in real-time.
  • Make single payments to creditors via BACS (Bankers Automated Clearing System); more secure and quicker than paying by cheque and eliminates associated bank charges and administrative time.

Make International Payments

  • Make Foreign Currency payments to other banks in other countries.
  • Transfer Foreign Currency funds between accounts held in First Trust Bank and Allied Irish Bank(GB).
  • Make Foreign Currency payments to any third party account held in First Trust Bank or Allied Irish Bank(GB).

Getting Started

Our business account customers who have already moved to iBusiness Banking now regard this system as an essential tool for any organisation keen to benefit from updated cash management. Whether you're accustomed to earlier generation online banking system, or still largely paper-based, iBusiness Banking is straightforward to set-up and easy to use.

You will require:

  • An Internet ready PC, Intel Pentium 1 or higher capability.
  • Internet connectivity (dial-up or broadbrand).
  • Operating system: SUSE Linux 10.0, Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher.
  • Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher.
  • Microsoft JVM version 3805 or higher.

Note:

iBusiness Banking is not currently compatible with Apple Computers.
iBusiness Banking requires both Cookies and Javascript to be enabled.

To get connected ask your Branch Relationship Manager who will help you assess your requirements and complete the Application Form. Allied Irish Bank(GB) will provide all the training you need to get up and running and even guide you through your first transactions.

How you use the system is up to you. You can tailor iBusiness Banking around your operations. As your business evolves or when new features and functions are introduced, your Relationship Manager will be on hand to ensure you optimise the system.
